One morning on the 1st day of the 1st week of the 2nd month of the new year, King Potato - the emperor of Potato World, sat on his throne, sighing and remembering all the days when he had protected his fellow potatoes from the horrible potato-hater aliens. King Potato looked at the vast potato fields he had made for the people, which would serve them till the world came to an end. Beside the fields, there were the great mashed potato seas, from where the flaming potato would rise every morning and scatter its flaring light over the golden potato farms. King Potato had dedicated his life to preserve the deliciousness of potatoes. He would keep lavish treats of potato cuisines to experiment the potatoes from the fields. Baby potatoes loved him and wished to live up to King Potato’s dream.
This was the great start of the modern potato world, but with every great start comes a great end. Thus, it was the end of Great King Potato.
It was his 2000th birthday when he fell very ill. All the potatoes were very sad, but King Potato had a smile over his face. He looked at his potato fellows who had gathered around him and said, “Dear worthy potatoes! All my life I have protected our potatoes from the evil ones. Now it is your duty to continue my life-long dream, that is to make available the best and the finest potatoes in the world under the label of OPTP till time ends!”
After this the King breathed his last breath and died with a smile on his face, whereas his followers are still alive and working today to give us the best potato fries in the world!
