Tareeka- A T-shirt brand making tees that are inspired by cultural, religious and ethical dilemmas. This short but interesting story starts with two regular people - Ali Kanchwala and Hammad Ilyas. Both being college mates on the same course, realized they wanted to bring about a change. Strongly believing that today's youth can bring that about, they decided to launch their own t-shirt brand -representing culture and ethnic dilemmas. With both families having commercial expertise in complimentary fields (Ali's in garments and Hammad's promotional business), they thought they had their work cut out for them. Soon, however, they realized how bumpy the road ahead was to be. After many sleepless nights - trying to come with the perfect designs and finding the right material, "Tareeka" was launched on 10th July 2008. |
